 The Sixth Edition of The Fenway Cornhole Classic is May 19th There are tales of Massachusetts teams traveling to Connecticut and New York to win 20-hour tournaments against good competition. But, there is also the disappointment of five Fenway Cornhole Classics and no New England trips to the Winner's Circle. Perhaps the criticism is not fair as the state of Florida has fielded All-Star teams each of the previous five years. Will they do the same this year? I don't know as I have not yet seen the roster. Regardless, I think this year will be different. I even say this knowing that New England's top two teams will not be in attendance. Why the optimism? I have been playing more lately from the North Shore down to Pawtucket, RI and the depth of the cornhole talent is staggering. With the growth in Maine, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, a New England victory is inevitable! Of course, anyone is welcome to prove me right or wrong as limited space is still available.
