 For the second time in as many trips, Dave and John Moran made the most out of the long commute from Rhode Island. The duo enjoyed an undefeated night in the "bring your own partner" draw. Mike and Debbie were the runner-ups and toughest challengers, but still unable to wrestle a win from the champs. In the blind draw tourney, Ken was the walker and swaggered his way to the title without a dropping a single match. The biggest applause were saved for Last Man Standing where the battle came down to two bags between defending champ, Mike, and crowd favorite, Tom. After Mike's final sack wouldn't fall, Tom stepped up and nailed his first bag in the hole for the win! We'll see many of our Great American Tavern cornholers in action this Saturday at the Giving Hope Foundation Tournament in Peabody. Even if you are not playing you should come and cheer your fellow cornholers! No admission fee for spectators. As always, join us in North Reading for Tuesday Night Cornhole! |
