Blake and Cole win their 2nd at Fenway

If you want something done...you have to score more than 17 points! I would have liked to complete that sentence differently, but you can't always get what you want. However, Blake Sparrow and Cole Mason did exactly what they set out to do despite mother nature's curveball. Congrats to the Side Bar duo as they repeated as Fenway Cornhole Classic Champs with an undefeated run! That's six victories in six attempts by teams from Florida at a tournament held in Boston. That may be the most bizarre statistic in cornhole history! Chris Baril and Scott Pelletier finished second as Chris airmailed them to one spot shy of the winner's circle. The last step on the podium was claimed by Andy Gomes and Jeff Bachand.

Familiar faces returned to the top, but talent was scattered across the brackets creating the deepest field ever at the Classic! Even without some of the top area teams, New England cornhole is alive and well! And let's not forget my favorite team of helpers consisting of Raul Serrano, John Moran, Shane O'Hara, Chad Leverone, and JC Peters. Thank you for once again making the Fenway Cornhole Classic a terrific event! See you next year!
