Craig and Phil got it done
We love seeing new faces at Tuesday Night Cornhole in North Reading! This past week we had some newbies, Tom and Chris, make the drive up from Milford and they came to play! The rookies raced out of the winner's bracket leaving everyone else in their wake including our GAT powerhouse, Craig, who was partnered with Phil on the evening. Realizing the margin for error was small and that every bag would count, Craig's coaching became just as important as his play. Craig made sure Phil knew when to toss it gently and when to go right at the hole! By the finals, Phil had enough tips in the bank to complete a successful double-dip victory! Great effort by Tom and Chris and better perseverance by Craig and Phil. The champs made it two for two by capturing the blind draw tourney with two wins over Ken and Mike. While it may still be a struggle to stand, Ken was our Last Man Standing by knocking Mike and Phil out at three bags. In his first Airmail Challenge, Chris drilled four of eight bags for the easy win.
With many larger tournaments on the horizon, what better place to practice than at Great American Tavern on Tuesday nights! Great people and great competition always makes for a fun night! Bags fly each week at 7 PM. Be there!
