The Giving Hope Foundation Cornhole Winner's Circle

After a surreal week in Boston from the marathon bombings to the manhunt, The Giving Hope Foundation Cornhole Tournament in Peabody, MA was a very welcomed return to normalcy.  Lots of love in the building from The Giving Hope Team, cornhole competitors, and spectators!  Thank you Linda Broughton, we are honored to join the fight against leukemia.

On to the tournament, once again it was 40 Plus taking top honors with another undefeated afternoon.  However, Jersey Holers, Sarah and Kang, did not go down without a fight and some very competitive matches against the champs.  Mike Doherty and Rob Doherty rounded out the top three; who saw that coming!?  In Last Woman Standing, the battle went down to a single bag with Sarah ousting yours truly for the victory!  Hours later at the "After Party", it was Déjà vu as Sarah once again turned away my challenge at a single sack.  The silver lining is that she bought me dinner and is now allowed to play this afternoon in Woburn.  Congrats Sarah!
