 This past Thursday marked the first time a Jake n JOES tournament champion did not enjoy an undefeated night. After losing to defending champion "Drink for Free" in the winners' bracket finals, it appeared that Danny and Josh were destined to be the bridesmaids for the second consecutive week. But, in cornhole, momentum can change in an instant. After sweeping through the remaining teams in the losers' bracket, the now three-time champs breezed through two relatively uncompetitive matches in the rematch with "Drink for Free" en route to $50 Visa gift cards. Congrats to Danny and Josh as they completed the Jake n JOES Hat Trick and now find themselves once again atop the power rankings. While the champs get the glory, everyone else who competed deserves some press too. Once again, we had 15 teams composed of familiar faces along with some first time players. A big thanks to all!
