Barry-less, but not winless for Fish!

Two wins in two appearances for Joe

Rarely do we have a Fish sighting in North Reading without his BFF in tow.  But, on Tuesday night, Jay went upstream on Interstate 93 all by his lonesome and made the most of it!  He took the Airmail Challenge by nailing four of eight bags in his best round!  That also tops the previous mark of three bags set last week by Mike "The Mailman" Doherty.  In tournament play, Jay almost walked the walk as the walker, but came up short by dropping two of three matches against the champs, Mike and Joe.  I'm not gonna lie to you...it was a good night for Jay and two tourney wins in a row for Joe!  In the nightcap tourney, the random pairing of Craig and Mike were good enough to make it through unscathed and undefeated!  Mike took out Craig at two bags in Last Man Standing!

While the winners get the glory, the best match of the night was between Dan and Ryan versus "Sun's out, Gun's out" PJ and Kevin Sr.  Knotted at 20-20, Dan had two points on the board and a few blockers in front of the hole.  Undeterred by the situation and down to the last bag of the match, PJ drilled a walk-off airmail for the victory!  Good stuff guys!  Tuesday also marked the return of Ken who was back in action for the first time since his leg injury.

New faces, old faces, always fun!  Join us Tuesday nights at Great American Tavern in North Reading for some cornhole!
