Andy and Randy christen the WCL Winner's Circle
The first team randomly selected last Thursday night was the team that finished first! The pairing of Andy Gomes and Randy Parker Sr. headed in to the inaugural edition of the Woburn Cornhole League (WCL) as the favorites and delivered as advertised with an undefeated night and well-earned victory in the field of twelve teams. Second place went to the talented combo of Lance Madden and Randy Parker Jr. Rich Queen and Corey Aucoin rounded out the top three. While an "R" is the only difference in their first names, even less separates our champs in the individual standings as both sit at the top with 10 points. These friends will be foes on the 29th as league rules prohibit them from being teammates in the second tournament.

The WCL returns for Tournament 2 on Thursday, May 29th. Points and tournament format are subject to change as we optimize the league to be the best and fairest that it can be. A big thanks to the 24 players who competed in the first event; we hope to see you all again in a few weeks!
