It was a beautiful, crisp December night in Somerville for the Americana Snow Ball FUN Raiser. Each musical performance was spectacular, the crowd was great.....and off to the side of the stage was cornhole! While many guests had never heard of cornhole before.....after all the bands had finished, bags were still flying through the air. Highlights from the holiday evening:

  • The Arts at the Armory is a wonderful cornhole venue! Check out the bird's eye view above. Super high ceilings, tons of space, and a great atmosphere. If you are planning a cornhole event or fundraiser, you must consider the Armory!

  • "Wow, this is a really fun game!" We are far from Ohio here in Boston and to many cornhole is still an unknown. In the beginning of the night, it was a little difficult to draw interest for the tournament. However, as the night when on, the bracket filled and many praised the competition! We love introducing cornhole to those who have never played. One of the best things about organizing cornhole tournaments is seeing people enjoying themselves!

  • Not everybody is a novice! Our top two seeded teams were far from beginners and they easily marched through the draw to the finals. And now they are considering heading to Tunica for the ACO World Championships. We would love to have some Massachusetts representation at the King of Cornhole!
