To "B" or not to "B"...

There goes the neighborhood!

WCL meet Sarge!  Sarge made a memorable debut in the Woburn Cornhole League by partnering with yours truly to double-dip Rich and Shane and capture Tournament 4.  In addition to the victory, Sarge also left with the 4-bagger chip!  While Sarge brought his "A" game, there was some chatter regarding my "B" classification.  Is something rotten in the state of the Wu?  Well, not really...heading in to WCL 4, I had a sub .500 WCL record, fewer points, and a lower points/tournament ratio than most in attendance.  But, rest assured conspiracy theorists, with Thursday's win, I am back to the "A" group for the duration of the league.  The real question is...do we still need the two distinct classifications or is everyone now at a level where a pure blind draw will work?  Some food for thought...

With another strong performance, Rich has padded his lead in the Overall Standings.  With only three regular season tournaments left, it may just be a battle for second place!  Join us at the end of August for Tournament 5!
