From Salem to Taunton, plenty of cornhole this week!

The Salem dress rehearsal went as planned

Here we are in November in New England and there are still numerous opportunities to play cornhole!  Let's start where we CANNOT play this week, Great American Tavern in North Reading.  Due to a private event, we will not be playing on Tuesday, November 5th, but will be back again on the 12th.  Last week at GAT was a good one with great competition.  Priming themselves for the Salem Witches Tournament, Ken and Mike turned back the South Shore challenge from Jeff and Charlie.  Charlie would go on to have success later in the week, but not in our house!  Jeff did get some redemption by drawing Cindy and winning the blind draw!  Two blind draw wins in a row for Cindy!  In Last Man Standing, it was Brownie getting his second victory in his past two Last Man outings.  Afterwards, he stated that his key to winning is to play with himself (paraphrase).  If you have difficulty spelling, trust us, there's definitely an "I" in Brownie!  Off this week, but we hope to see everyone back on the 12th in North Reading!

This Friday, the show rolls in to Salem, MA for the Salem Witches Tournament.  Our first competitive tournament in Salem as Doherty Custom Boards debuts as host of a tournament.  $60 per team and the champs could win up to $400!  Cash prizes for 1st - 3rd will ultimately depend on the number of teams who compete.  Come on out to support the Salem cheerleading and pop warner programs!

Fall Brawl in the Pines is on Sunday

Saturday and Sunday the scene shifts to the South Shore where we need to see more Northerners out there pitching bags!  On Saturday, head to the home of Norton God, Andy Gomes and play in his Birthday Cornhole Tournament!  After his win in NJ, stop by, get an autograph, and guess what the larger number is...his hat size or his age!  The weekend finishes up in Taunton for South Shore Cornhole's Fall Brawl in the Pines at the Lafayette Club.  Always a great time and turnout, say hello to Jeff and company!
