The Year of the...Tornado!

Introducing the POY!
- An ACL Regional Singles Victory
- Winner of the Ocean State Cornhole Winter League
- Third Place Finish in the Elite Series of Cornhole
- Fourth Place Finish in the Wilmington Cornhole League
This is certainly not the same player who was first to show up and early to leave a pink hat tournament at the Lansdowne Pub back in December of 2017. What a year and what a transformation! Congratulations and can't wait to see you on the courts in 2019!
Honorable Mention
As much as I love blogging the end of year recognition, there is so much cornhole that it is very difficult to keep a pulse on everyone. I can only appreciate what I see and there have certainly been some remarkable performances in 2018. For starters, Charles Prew is the best player in New England. Freddie Schulz isn't too shabby either. While I have only seen him play once, I don't think anyone is too eager to play against Alex Boulay. The Doghouse doesn't need to name a POY because I can tell you that it's Tom Halloran. He has the game to match Brendan Ahern's strut! On the women's side, with a few ACL Regional and Conference wins, 2018 definitely belonged to Stephanie Bergeron.
